SIT Fashion: Chrysalis Graduate Show
Wendy Hill Cosmetics is pleased to have once again been able to support the Southern Institute of Technology’s 2018 Chrysalis Graduate Fashion Showcase 'Phoenix'.
The Showcase, held at Invercargill’s Centrestage Theatre on November 6th, is an annual feature to demonstrate the work of graduate and current students of SIT’s three year Bachelor of Fashion (Design & Technology) course.
This year the show featured fashion looks for women and men designed and made by the students, along with works they created for various SIT shows throughout the year such as the Grease musical and Blackadder production.
As in previous years, Wendy Hill Cosmetics - New Zealand’s own professional makeup brand – supplied the makeup products for models in the show, with makeup as usual created by students from SIT’s beauty therapy courses.
Makeup students at SIT are also involved with the Hokonui Fashion Awards and the SIT Chrysalis Fashion show, and both events provide an amazing opportunity for students to gain experience in doing makeup for catwalk models.
Our photos show some of the frantic behind-the-scenes preparation for the show as well as the beautiful results on the catwalk.
Congratulations to all the talented students and staff involved in making this event a success!
The Wendy Hill professional makeup range is designed for outstanding photographic results as well as everyday wear, and has an enduring performance factor, which means your makeup will last and continue to look great under even the toughest conditions.
